Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula is universally recognized as an anglers's paradise. One of the best bases from which to explore this prolific area is located at the north end of Ascension Bay at a small lodge called Pesca Maya. With comfortable accommodations, personalized service, great food and terrific access to the fishing grounds (all at a very affordable price), Pesca Maya has established a solid reputation and a very loyal following.
Tarpon Cay
Tarpon Cay far exceeds the standards by which most destinations for backcountry tarpon and snook are measured. Located on the Yucatan Peninsula's northern coast, hundreds of miles away from the well known resorts at Ascension Bay, stretches an unfished and untapped coastline that very few anglers have seen. The habitat is perfect for tarpon and snook and they show up in good numbers. If you love classic tarpon takes, Tarpon Cay is for you!
Tarpon Coast
Situated on the Western coast of Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula, The Tarpon Coast offers a magnificent shallow water habitat and some of the best baby tarpon fishing in the world! Over forty miles of coastline allows dedicated anglers to explore an incredible variety of shallow water flats, bays and interior lagos and lagoons in pursuit of one of the world's great gamefish. And when the day is done, anglers can enjoy the old world charms of Campeche, a city steeped in Mexican and Mayan culture.
Costa de Cocos
Remote and way off the beaten path - Costa de Cocos lies on the border between Mexico and Belize. Overlooked and underfished, Mexico's southern Yucatan is an angling frontier just waiting to be explored. Swaying palms, comfortable thatched roof cabanas and delicious food round out a great unpressured angling destination.

Isla Holbox
Lying just off of the northern tip of the Yucatan Peninsula, this quaint island provides a gateway to one of the world's prime tarpon habitats. Lovely oceanfront accommodations and great guides and boats insure a comfortable and productive angling adventure.

Punta Allen Fishing Club
The waters of Ascension Bay offer the light-tackle saltwater fisherman one of the most diverse selections of game fish in the world. Bonefish, tarpon, snook, jacks, barracuda and several different reef species are all potential catches. In addition, many experienced anglers believe that Ascension Bay has the world's largest population of permit. One of the best ways to fish Ascension Bay is with the Punta Allen Fishing Club, which is strategically located at the north end of Ascension Bay. This lodge combines great guides and equipment with comfortable, if not luxurious accommodations, all coming in at an unbelievably good price. if you looking to combine great fishing with good value, this is your spot.
Casa Blanca
Arguably the best equipped and most deluxe fishing lodge on the Yucatan, Casa Blanca has hosted some of the world's most experienced anglers. They come for the great food, excellent service, quality guides with state-of-the-art skiffs and Ascension Bay's best shots at a Grand Slam.

Playa Blanca
The perfect spot for couples or groups of friends especially if anglers are in the party. Private beachfront cottages gaze out at a beautiful white sand beach studded with stately palms - the perfect antidote to civilization.
