No See um Lodge
No See Um Lodge is located on the Kvichak River, providing immediate access to one of Alaska’s most celebrated fisheries. Known for its record sockeye salmon runs and trophy rainbow trout, the Kvichak offers exceptional fishing just steps from the lodge. A short 10-minute flight takes anglers to the river’s braids, where jet boats reach prime fly-fishing water. Thanks to our central location, most fishing areas are within a 5–30 minute flight, with the farthest no more than an hour away.
With a larger fleet than most lodges and an exceptional 4:1 guest-to-plane ratio, we fly when others are grounded. This means faster departures, more time on the water, and dependable access to even the most remote fisheries—regardless of conditions.
Alaska fishing changes as the season unfolds, and at No See Um Lodge there’s a new opportunity nearly every week. From June through September, anglers can consistently target trout, char, and grayling. Sockeye salmon peak in July and August, followed by strong runs of silver salmon from August into mid-September. Pink and chum salmon arrive from mid-July through August, adding to the excitement. As weather, water levels, and fish behavior shift throughout the season, each visit delivers a unique and memorable experience.
